ANALYSIS
There are requirements that should be met to have a running and functional feed rate. The goal is to have 500 RPM to start off with. The speed can not be fast nor too slow but the average speed should between 10 ipm to 30 ipm. The ratio of the pulleys should be at 3:1 to be a speed reducer off the motor shaft. All the green sheets under analysis in the proposal.

CONSTRUCTION
The feed control device was constructed once and then revised to meet certain requirements on the frame all together with the other components. The final and most updated assembly is constructed of 4 pulleys, 2 V-belts, 2 shafts, idler roller wheel and a hand wheel. All these components are important to make the feed control work. These 10 parts that the feed control is composed of is all a part of the framework and motor (Images of part drawings shown in Gallery).
